Mills Memorial Hospital is a fully accredited 44-bed acute care facility serving Terrace and its surrounding area. This includes a 10-bed psychiatric unit, the only inpatient unit in the Northwest, three surgical suites and a 4-bed ICU and an extensive day-care service. Mills Memorial is open 24/7 and receives an average of 24,700 ER visits per year.

Mills Memorial Hospital provides acute, education, prevention and community based programs such as Chronic Disease Management clinics, Prenatal Education, Best for Baby antepartum education and Meals on Wheels. Terrace has the largest concentration of physicians and services North of Prince George and the largest diagnostic and specialist center West of Prince George, including CT and nuclear medicine services. There are 16 family physicians and 21 specialists, including Obstetrics/Gynecology, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Urology, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Anaesthetics, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Pathology, ENT, general surgeons, Podiatrists, Pediatricians and Internal Medicine.

Other facilities include Terraceview Lodge, Terrace Community Health, Seven Sisters Residence and a community cancer clinic.
